Making Of
This prototype was developed as part of the “Controlling Virtual Characters” module. In a team of five, 3D models were created and rigged, a level blockout was created, a shot list was created, motion capture footage was recorded in the motion capture lab at Kempten University of Applied Sciences, and the captured motion data was imported into Unreal Engine 4. The project is a stealth game featuring quick-time events.
Blender was used for the creation and rigging of the 3D models. Motion capture data was recorded using the OptiTrack system with Motive software. The entire game was built using Blueprints in Unreal Engine 4.
